Training Program on VLSI and Embedded Systems

The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering organized a one-day “Training program on VLSI and Embedded Systems” on 15th February 2020 for Final year Diploma students.

The training was attended by a total of 35 students. Out of them, 33 participants were from Government Polytechnic, Ratnagiri and two participants from Rajendra Mane Polytechnic, Ambav. The training program provided the knowledge of simulation and synthesis using Quartus II software in the VLSI domain and Keil4 software for ARM in the Embedded domain. Along with this, a demonstration of  B.E. projects was arranged to explore the real-time applications of technology.

The program started with the felicitation of Prof. T. N. Hailnalkar, Faculty, Government Polytechnic, Ratnagiri by Dr. Kaushal K. Prasad, Principal, FAMT. In his address, Dr. Kaushal Prasad explained the importance of higher education to diploma students for better career opportunities. Dr. S. V. Chougule, Head of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department, delivered a welcome address. Prof. V. V. Nimbalkar, Assistant Professor, Electronics Engineering department presented an overview of the training program. Prof. S.S. Athalye guided the students about career planning in Engineering.
