One Day Workshop on Introduction to Mass Transfer Laboratory for Students of Diploma in Chemical Engineering
The Department of Chemical Engineering conducted a One Day Workshop on Introduction to Mass Transfer Laboratory on 14th February 2020. The students of Second and Third-year Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Maharashtra Polytechnic, Mandangad attended the workshop.
The workshop started with the welcome address by Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT. It was followed by a presentation delivered by Prof. A. K. Bandsode, Head, Chemical Engineering Department. The workshop aimed at providing hands-on training on various mass transfer equipment and understanding the basic working principles of the different unit operations through experiments.
A total of 25 students of Maharashtra Polytechnic, Mandangad, participated in the workshop. The participants learned the basics of Unit Operations in theory sessions conducted by Prof. P. A. Giri and Prof. A. K. Bandsode. The students also performed experiments in the Mass Transfer Laboratory to learn the practical aspects of the different equipment. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. P. A. Giri.
