On April 6, 2024, third-year Mechanical Engineering students embarked on an enlightening industrial visit to Gadre Marine Export Pvt. Ltd. situated in Ratnagiri.
Gadre Marine Export Pvt. Ltd. is a renowned entity in the marine industry, specializing in the processing and export of high-quality seafood products. Established in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, the company has garnered a reputation for its technological advancements and adherence to international standards in seafood processing and refrigeration.
The objective was to understand HVACR systems in marine applications and explore the technological advancements in refrigeration techniques.
The visit was organized by Prof. Hemant V. Chavan from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, under the guidance of the Head, Dr. M. S. Kirkire.
