PCB Making Workshop for E&TC Students

PCB Making Workshop for E&TC Students

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department arranged a Workshop on PCB Making for SE EXTC students on 16th March 2024.

The objectives of this workshop were:

  1. To provide students with hands-on experience in PCB prototyping, utilizing

standard tools and techniques.

  1. To demonstrate and facilitate the process of PCB fabrication and assembly,

giving practical instruction and support.

Prof. N A Marathe and Prof. G S Bhosale conducted this workshop.

At the start, Prof. Gauri S. Bhosale conducted a session on the introduction to PCB design in which she demonstrated how to draw PCB layouts using ExpressPCB software. Some examples of designing PCBs using software were discussed.

This session was followed by a Hands-on demonstration of PCB Prototyping using standard tools and techniques. Processes of PCB making such as PCB cutting, PCB coating, photoresist drying, UV exposure, Etching and drilling were demonstrated to students. together by Prof. Gauri S. Bhosale and Prof. Neha A. Marathe.

The workshop was carried out under the guidance of the Head of E&TC Department,  Dr. Sharada V. Chougule. A total of 38 students of SE EXTC attended the workshop and practiced PCB Making.
