Webinar on Higher Education in Foreign Countries

Electrical Engineering Department of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology has organized a webinar on “Higher Education in Foreign Countries” on 25th June 2021.

Mr. Adeesh Paranjape, Mr. Pranil Patil, Mr. Varun Pillai, and Mr. Salman Nadaf, alumni from the department, were speakers for the webinar. The webinar focused on the preparatory requirements to get admission to foreign universities for higher education. The objectives of the program were

1) To make the students aware of the opportunities and requirements of higher education in foreign countries.

2) To provide a platform for the participant to interact with the experts.

Prof. Suhas H. Mhabadi extended a welcome to the attendees and introduced the speakers. Mr. Adeesh Paranjape, Senior Electrical Engineer at BuroHappold, USA explained how to acquire correct information about the foreign universities offering higher education courses and also gave an insight into the course structure.

Mr. Pranil Patil who has graduated from the Technological University of Dublin, Ireland emphasized the research and quality publications to stand out and get recognition in the competition.

Mr. Varun Pillai, who graduated from Kingston University, London stated different possibilities of scholarships and preparing for the entrance examinations.

Mr. Salman Nadaf, purusing post-graduation in Communication engineering from Technical University of Munich, Germany gave an elaborate knowledge for all the formalities and necessary processes to be followed.

The session was followed by Q/A session and interaction between the participants and the speakers. The webinar was concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Priya A. Potdar.

Prof. Sudhir S. Wamane and Prof. Priya A. Potdar organized the webinar under the guidance of Dr. Sandeep Chawda, Head of Electrical Engineering Department, and the encouragement of Honorable Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad. 89 students of FAMT attended the webinar. The webinar was helpful to the students.
