A Seminar on Improving Operational Efficiency with Advanced Process Control

The Department of Chemical Engineering organized a seminar on Improving Operational Efficiency with Advanced Process Control for Chemical Engineering students on 21st February 2020.

Dr. Dinesh Jaguste, Yokogawa India Ltd., was the Resource Person, who specializes in the application of advanced process control in the process industries. Prof. A. K. Bandsode, Head, Department of Chemical Engineering introduced the guest to the students.

Dr. Dinesh Jaguste highlighted the importance of process control in modern chemical plants. He talked about the role of advanced process control in improving the performance of a chemical plant. He also talked about career possibilities in the field of Advanced Process Control. The seminar was also attended by faculty of the Department of Chemical Engineering. The seminar ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. A. K. Bandsode, who also coordinated the event.
