Parichay – 2K22”

The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (EXTC) under the Association for Students of Electronics and Telecommunication (ASENT) organized “Parichay – 2k22” on 23rd September 2022.

Parichay-2K22 was celebrated to welcome Second Year students. Dr. S. V. Chougule, Head of EXTC Department, Prof. M. K. Zagade, ASENT Faculty In-charge, all the faculty and staff members and the students of EXTC graced the function.

The program started with Sarswativandana. Dr S.V. Chougule welcomed all to the event and She gave detailed information about the department and different events organized in the department. She motivated them to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for balanced academics. Prof. M. K. Zagade, ASENT Faculty In-charge, motivated students to focus on achieving good academic scores, using technical knowledge for the betterment of society and working on communication skills which would help to build their personality.

A PowerPoint presentation was played which presented all the information about the EXTC Department such as Vision, Mission, details of all the faculty and staff members, events, and social activities, BE student shared their views on the online and offline journey in the department. TE students also shared information about the EXTC branch and explained the need for new Honors and Minors courses. The department also congratulated students who achieved exceptional grades in the Past Semester Exam with a token of appreciation.

The event was successfully concluded with a vote of thanks. Mr Pradnyesh Dhapare, Student Chief Coordinator- ASENT. ASENT committee arranged refreshments for all faculty members and students. BE students arranged different Skills representation, Drama and Fun Games for SE students to boost their confidence, and enable them to actively participate and interact with seniors.

This program served the following objectives:

  1. To participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for balanced academics.

  2. To improve Communication Skills, leadership and team skills and overall personality of the students.

  3. To make the interaction between students of SE, TE and BE.
