A one day workshop on “Fundamentals of Python” was organized by Electrical Engineering Department on 27th July, 2019.
The workshop was inaugurated by the Head of Electrical Engineering department Prof. Suhas H. Mhabadi with his informative and motivational talk on Python. It was conducted by Prof. Kiran M. Keshyagol for the students of Electrical Engineering Department. The objective of this workshop was to create awareness about Python programming language as it is very versatile and easy-to-learn language with an extensive library of open source tools allowing users to solve a variety of problems.
Prof. Kiran M. Keshyagol emphasized on Functions, Strings, Top Down Design, Commenting, If / Else, For loop, While loop and Code Indentation. This workshop covered the variables and data types, list, conditional statements, dictionaries, tuples and sets, loops, functions, classes, files Exception handling etc.
Total 32 students of Electrical Engineering actively participated in the workshop and shared their Feedback regarding the workshop that they enjoyed learning Python programming language.
