The Cultural Committee and Department of First Year Engineering collaboratively celebrated ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ on 26th July, 2019. It was the 20th anniversary of the Kargil victory. To celebrate ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’, screening of the movie- ‘Uri- the Surgical Strike’ was organized. Around 160 students and the faculty members were present for the screening.
The programme started with the enlightening address by Dr. Kaushal Prasad- Principal, FAMT. Later the screening of the film took place as a motivation for the students towards patriotism, national and human values.
Prof. D. D. Joshi, Dr. S. B. Kulkarni, Prof. L. D. Naiknaware and Prof. D. M. Bapat worked for the success of the said programme.
