A Seminar on Cyber Security was organized by the Information Technology department on 27 September 2019 in IT Seminar Hall. Mr Manish Singh from ATS InfoTech, an authorized training partner of Microsoft USA, interacted with students of SE and TE Information Technology. The seminar focused on creating awareness among the students about the Microsoft Virtual Academy Certification on Cyber Security. He emphasized the benefits of students’ participation in such certification programs as they help students to acquire Microsoft Certification Vouchers at a discounted price and E-Learning Material for future study reference. The program was overseen by the Head of Information Technology Department, Dr Vinayak Bharadi along with Prof. Atiya Kazi as the Departmental coordinator. All the students from SE and TE were in full attendance and gained a lot of insight into the latest trends in cybersecurity. They were also made aware of how such certifications will boost their skill set. All the students expressed a vivid interest in attending such seminars and workshops in future.
