Workshop on VLSI and Embedded Systems for Diploma students
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering organized a one-day “Workshop on VLSI and Embedded Systems” on 30 March 2022 for Final year Diploma students at Sahyadri Polytechnic, Sawarde
The training was attended by a total of 37 students along with 04 faculty members. The training program provided the knowledge of simulation and synthesis using Quartus II software in the VLSI domain
Dr S. V. Chougule, Head of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department, delivered a welcome address. Prof. G. S. Kulkarni, Associat Professor, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department guided the students regarding Career Opportunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems. Prof. R. R. Kulkarni guided the students in the simulation and synthesis of Digital circuits using VHDL on Quartus II.
Prof. N. A. Marathe was a coordinator for this event. The event concluded with an address by Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal and a thank you note by Dr S. V. Chougule, Head of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department.
This program served the following objectives:
- To give knowledge regarding VLSI and Career opportunities
- To implement the system on FPGA
