Webinar On Centrifugal Pumps-DCS Operation and Troubleshooting
The Department of Chemical Engineering organized a Webinar on ‘Centrifugal Pumps-DCS Operation and Troubleshooting’ on 11th October 2021 for second, third and final year Chemical Engineering students. The resource person for the webinar was Mr S. S. Desai, the Senior Production Engineer at Vedanta Cairn India Limited. Mr S. S. Desai discussed the DCS operations of centrifugal pumps. He highlighted the importance of centrifugal pumps in the operation of a typical Refinery and discussed the troubleshooting of centrifugal pumps in detail.
The webinar was coordinated by Prof. A. K. Bandsode, Head Department of Chemical Engineering. All faculty members of the Chemical Engineering Department attended the Webinar. The Webinar concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. S. B. Bobde.
