EESA Celebrated Teachers’ and Engineers’ day

Electrical Engineering Student Association celebrated “Teachers’ Day and Engineers’ Day” on 10th September, 2018 to express gratitude and appreciation to the Teachers and Engineers. Teacher’s Day and Engineer’s Day is celebrated to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and Mokshagundam Visvevaraya on 5th September and 15th September respectively every year.

The students of T.E and B.E taught on this day by drafting timetable and delivering lectures from S.E to B.E which was followed by a programme to celebrate the occasion. The programme commenced with lighting the lamp to offer prayers to Goddess Saraswati. “Trical Katta” a student-teacher interaction programme was arranged by the students wherein the students asked questions to the teachers. The teachers were felicitated and were offered special greeting cards made by students.  The faculty members also felicitated students for their achievements during their respective academic years.

New logo and tag line for EESAwas revealed. The faculty member felicitated the student winners who made the logo and tag line. T. E. Students expressed their gratitude towards teachers. Prof. M.S Modak, EESA Faculty-Incharge, addressed the students. The celebration concluded with teacher-student volleyball show match. The event was well received by both the teachers and students.
