Bridge Course on Simulation tools for Mini Projects

On 03rd March 2022, a Bridge Course on Simulation Tools for Mini Projects was conducted to train the students in three simulation tools required for developing Mini Projects.

Dr Sandeep Chawda, Head of Electrical Engineering Department, inaugurated the session with an informative and motivational talk on simulation tools. In the first stage, the students were introduced to programming the Arduino microcontroller using the Tinker CAD simulation platform. In the second stage, the students were trained to develop electronic simulation using LT SPICE Software. The LT SPICE simulation software helps students check and tweak their circuits before building hardware. In the third stage, students were trained for using Ki-CAD PCB designing software. In this session, students learnt how to develop an Electronic circuit schematic and PCB layout.

The one-day bridge course was conducted for the Second Year Electrical Engineering students by Prof. Leslie Fernandes, Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department.
