One Day Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights
Research Development & Consultancy Committee of Finolex Academy of Management & Technology, Ratnagiri conducted a One day Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights on 15th March, 2019. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Dhruv Brahmbhatt, Managing Director and Miss. Pooja Menon, COO of MyCrave Consultancy for the undergraduate Engineering students of FAMT.
In the inaugural function of workshop, Prof. L D Naiknaware, Member of RDCC, welcomed the resource persons and participants. Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT felicitated the resource persons. Dr S S Goilkar briefed the participants about the importance of IPR.
The main objective of this workshop was to make students familiar with Intellectual Property Rights, which have gained a special importance in all the domains of socio-economic development. The workshop covered various topics with technical and well known examples about intellectual property, introduction to Patent, Copyright and Trademark. The role of IP in Make in India was highlighted.
