Industrial Training on Advanced Metrology, GDT and CMM
The department of Mechanical Engineering organized Two days Industrial Training for final year Mechanical Engg students at Accurate Engineering, Hadapsar, Pune with an objective to bridge the gap between the curriculum and industrial practices in the field of metrology. Total 30 students participated in this training.
The training was based on application based advanced metrology, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD &T) and 3d coordinate measuring machine (CMM) with scanning system.
It was organized under the guidance og Dr. Kaushal Prasad and Dr. M. S. Kirkire (HoD, Mechanical Engg). The accommodation was arranged at I2IT, Pune. The whole program was successfully organized and coordinated by Prof. Hemant V Chavan (Asst. Prof. in Mechanical Engg Department).
