A Guest Lecture On An Overview of Refinery Operations and Career Opportunities in the Oil and Gas Sector

The Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACES) organized a guest lecture on ‘An Overview of Refinery Operations and Career Opportunities in the Oil and Gas Sector’ for third and final year students. The resource person for the session was Mr Sagar Kamble who is one of the distinguished alumni of the Department of Chemical Engineering. Presently, he is working in Dorf Ketal Chemicals (I) Pvt. Ltd. During his lecture, Mr Sagar Kamble elaborated on various aspects of refinery operations and refinery products. He concluded his lecture with a discussion on career opportunities in Oil and Gas Sector.

The guest lecture was coordinated by Prof. A. K. Bandsode, Head Department of Chemical Engineering and Prof. P. A. Giri, Alumni Coordinator of the department. The guest lecture was attended by all faculty of the Department of Chemical Engineering.
