Brainwaves 2020

The Brainwaves Programme is conducted every year since 2001 on a National level to promote Co-curricular activities and technical skills among students. Since the entire program is designed, scheduled, and executed by the students, they get on-site management training through the program.

Brainwaves is conducted in three different streams. They are i) Technical Events ii) Kalarurti and iii) LAN Gaming.

i) Technical Events: In this category the events organized are:

  1. Technical Paper presentation
  2. Debate
  3. Group Discussion
  4. Quiz
  5. Circuit Building
  6. Lathe War
  7. Roborace

ii) Kalakruti: In this category the events organized are:

  1. Rangoli
  2. Sketching
  3. Photography
  4. Mehandi
  5. Nail art

iii) LAN Gaming: In this category the events organized are:

  1. Counter-Strike (Solo and Squad)
  2. Need for Speed
  3. Battle Grounds, Mobile (Solo, Duo, and Squad)

The prize amount for the technical events was Rs. 26,300/-, for Kalakruti events Rs. 11,000/- and for LAN gaming Rs. 17,500/-.

The Brainwaves-2020 was inaugurated on 1st March 2020. The Chief Guest of the function Dr. Anand Deshpande (Chairman and Managing Director of Persistent Systems),  Guest of Honor Shri Narendra Goidani (CEO Life School), Special Chief Guest Mr. Uday Samant (Minister for Higher Education, Govt. of Maharashtra). Mrs. Aruna Katara (President, Hope Foundation) presided over the function.

A total of 338 students from various colleges participated in the events organized on 1st March 2020 to 3rd March 2020. A total of 39 students won prizes in different events.
