Alumni Guest Lecture On Opportunities after Graduation
The Department of Chemical Engineering organized an Alumni Guest Lecture on ‘Opportunities after Graduation’ for SE, TE and BE students on 1st March 2021. The guest speaker was Mr Siddesh Kanekar, Senior Proposal Engineer (Europe and Africa region), Praj Industries Ltd., Pune.
Mr Siddesh Kanekar is an alumnus of the department of the first batch who graduated in 2012. He highlighted application areas of Chemical Engineering. He also talked about the roles of Chemical Engineers as they progress in their career. He also briefly talked about the skills sets required for becoming a successful Chemical Engineer.
The event was coordinated by Prof. S. S. Kadlag and Prof. S. B. Bobde. Prof. P. A. Giri, the alumni coordinator of the department, helped in arranging the guest lecture. The lecture was attended by all faculty members from the department.
