A Seminar on Steps to be A Competent Engineer by Dr. Kaushal Prasad
A Seminar on Steps to be A Competent Engineer was organized for second-year engineering students of all branches of engineering of FAMT from 22nd to 28th September 2022 in three Phases. Around 219 students attended the seminar delivered by Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad.
The seminar created awareness among students about upcoming competitions and steps to become Job Ready engineer. Dr. Kaushal Prasad explained in detail about requirements and qualities of a job-ready engineer – sound academic record & technical knowledge, event participation, projects, soft skills, values added courses etc. He also shared information about the Centre of Excellence and online education platforms available at the institute.
The students were also briefed about the recently started Honours and Minors degree programs along with its requirements and benefits. He also shared the present placement scenario along with the placement progress in the past few years. The seminar ended with feedback from students and question-answer sessions.
Mr. Paresh Sambare, Mr. Ajay Peje, Mr. Amey Raykar and Mr. Mahendra Shirke took efforts to make this seminar successful. The seminar was successfully coordinated by Prof. Abhijit M. Date under the guidance of Dr. Kaushal K. Prasad (Principal).
