A One Day Workshop on Python & Its Application in Digital Signal Processing

A one day Online Workshop on Python & Its Application in Digital Signal Processing’ was organized by the Electronics Engineering Department, FAMT,  for TE and B.E  students of Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication and Electrical Engineering on 10 October 2021, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Our Principal, Dr Kaushal Prasad expressed his thoughts on the need of such events to improve the students’ employability at the inaugural ceremony of the workshop. Prof. Rahulkumar P. Tivarekar and Prof. Rupesh B. Ingle were the resource persons for the workshop.

The main objective for organizing this workshop was to enhance students’ skill-set by providing training on open-source Python language, its installation, programming and usage in Digital Signal Processing. Currently, it is the most requisite skill-set in the industry irrespective of engineering domain. Signal processing is the need for working on current technologies like Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, and so on.

The topics covered were Introduction to Python, Installation of Python, Data Structure in Python, Control statements, Generate, Plot and Visualize data in Python, Record, Read, Playback, and Save and Play around with Audio using Python, Read, Write, visualize and process Images using Python.
