A Bridge Course on Blockchain Technology
Description of Event–
The Information Technology Department organized a bridge course on Blockchain Technology for BE IT students in FH2021. The course was conducted on 10/04/2021 from 11:15 am to 01:15 pm via online mode. It was co-ordinated by Prof. Atiya R Kazi with guidance from HoD IT, Dr. Vinayak Bharadi. She was also the resource person for the same. The course was attended by 44 students of BE IT. It is expected that after attending this course, students can understand how blockchain systems (mainly Bitcoin and Ethereum) work. Students can also integrate ideas from blockchain technology into their own future projects. They can also evaluate security, privacy, and efficiency of any given blockchain system. All the students expressed a vivid interest in attending more such courses in future.
