Mechanical Department organized a Guest Lecture on Role of Financial Planning in Project Management
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at FAMT organized a Guest Lecture on “Role of Financial Planning in Project Management” on 26 February 2024 for Mechanical Engineering Students.
The guest speakers for the lecture were Dr Vijay Kakade, Professor in Jainology, Shivaji University, Kolhapur and Dr. Suvarna Suryawanshi, Associate Professor, N D Patil Night College, Sangli. The lecture aimed to shed light on the significance of financial planning within the realm of Project Management, emphasizing how Break-Even Analysis intersects with areas such as Finance and Project Management etc.
A total of 48 students were present for this session. Engaging discussions and questions were raised regarding real-world applications of financial planning principles in engineering projects.
The program was successfully coordinated by Prof. (Dr.) S. S. Goilkar and Prof. P. A. Date, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department under the guidance of Prof.(Dr.) M. S. Kirkire, Dean of Student Affairs (Technical) and the Head of Mechanical Engineering Department and Prof. (Dr.) Kaushal Prasad, Principal, FAMT, Ratnagiri.
