Department of MCA Held a Seminar on Social Media: Cyber Security

A One-day Seminar on Social Media: Cyber Security was conducted by Prof Waman R. Parulekar at Kankavali College Kankavali, which was organized by the Department of MCA, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri on 2^nd February 2024 for B. Sc (CS) students of Kankavali College Kankavali.  A total of 45 Students attended the seminar.

The seminar commenced with a warm welcome by Prof. Amaresh P. Satose (Head of the Department). Prof. Pravin Sawant (faculty member of Kankavali College) welcomed the faculty members with Bouquet as a token of love and respect.

Prof. Waman R. Parulekar delivered the seminar on Social Media: Cyber Security. He interacted with students and discussed the need for awareness regarding various social media frauds, the type of risks involved on social media and tips to avoid threats. The seminar ended with a student feedback session.
