Alumni Meet 2018

Finolex Academy Alumni Association held Alumni Meet 2018 on 15th April 2018 at I2IT, Pune with lot of joy and excitement. It was inaugurated by Honorable Aruna M. Katara, President, Hope Foundation. Ms. Amrita Katara, Managing Trusty, Hope Foundation also graced the occasion.

During inaugural speech, Hon. President emphasized the role of alumni to contribute to their alma mater in turn to the investment made by FAMT in every alumni as a student. She emphasized the need of social awareness in the alumni and expressed the expectation to spare some time for this noble cause. She advised them to become entrepreneur and move to BHARAT to provide jobs in rural India. After inauguration, Dr. Kaushal Prasad presented a report on the achievements of FAMT. He appealed the students to be an active member of the alumni association. Prof. M. N. Tagare briefed about the goals of FAAA. He also emphasized the role of alumni in development of the academy. He added that various seminars, workshops, industrial visits, internships, placements and financial assistance could be the ways of it. The program was anchored by Prof. Ms. VrushaliNimbalkar.

After inaugural, open forum was anchored by Shri. Paresh Teredesai. In this session many of the alumni, Pramathesh Karkhanis, Amit Narawane, Sitaram Dhuri, Neeraj Maganani, Tejas Athavale, Santosh Kawade, Vinita Mulye, Rohan Prabhu, David Antony, and Nitin Kakde expressed their views on FAMT.

In post lunch session, department wise meets were organized. During which, alumni expressed the ways in which they can be useful to FAMT. Many constructive suggestions were received for development of current students.  Lastly, all alumni wrote their messages on the wall paper and expressed their gratitude towards professors and the institution. Total 53 students from various departments attended the meet. 15 faculty members including Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Registrar Mr. Mayur Targaonkar, HoDs and senior faculty members from all the departments were present for the meet.
