Sammruddha Shala Prerana Jagar Sabha

FAMT hosted Sammruddha Shala Prerana Jagar Sabha– A Workshop on ‘From Quality Enhancement to Societal Involvement’ on March 21st 2018; in collaboration with Panchayat Samiti, Ratnagiri. The workshop aimed at motivating the schools in Ratnagiri tehsil to achieve their development through active involvement of the people. The schools which have attained their development presented their journey and success details before the participants.

The workshop was inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Meghana Pashte (Chairperson-Panchayat Samiti), Mrs. Sakshi Rawnank, Mrs. Sneha Chavan, Mrs. Dalavi, Mrs. Vibhanjali Patil (Members- Panchayat Samiti), Mr. Mahesh Mhap (Member- Z.P.),  Mr. Sunil Patil (B.E.O., Ratnagiri tehsil), Mrs. Bhagyashree Hirve (E.E.O.), Mr. Rajaram Sawant and Mr. Uday Shinde (Kendra pratinidhi) and Dr. Kaushal Prasad (Principal- FAMT).

Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Sunil Patil, Sakshi Rawnank, Sneha Chavan, Meghana Pashte and Mahesh Mhap addressed the gathering. The inaugural session was followed by an informative session by Dr. Shrikrishna Joshi on Development through Societal Involvement. He emphasized the need of adapting Sanman, Sweekar, Swatantrya, Sahkarya (Respect, acceptance, freedom and cooperation) for getting contribution of people in development of schools.

Further, the selected primary schools in Ratnagiri tehsil- Z. P. Schools – Bhoke, Mathwadi; Ganpatipule; Nachane No.3; Pirandawane Wada Joon and N. P. School No.15 – Damle Vidyalay, Ratnagiri gave presentations on various dimensions of developing schools. Mrs. Khalida Jamadar presented on the role of Baalrakshak in preventing school dropouts.

The participants visited all the departments of the academy at the end of the workshop. The programme was anchored by Mrs. Suman Mane. Mrs. Ashwini Kane delivered vote of thanks. Prof. Milind Yadav convened the program and Prof. Abhijit Date along with Prof. Prashant Giri worked as member of organizing committee. Refreshment arrangements of guests and participants were looked after by Prof. Hemant Chavan.
