About Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial
Intelligence and Machine Learning)
Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is one of the most sought-after academic programs that integrates the fields of computer engineering and computer science, providing knowledge of computing systems in both hardware and software design.
Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. The term may also be applied to any machine that exhibits traits associated with a human mind such as learning and problem-solving.
Machine learning (ML) is a form of AI that enables a system to learn from data rather than through explicit programming. Machine learning is closely related to computational statistics, which focuses on making predictions using computers. The study of mathematical optimization delivers methods, theory and application domains to the field of machine learning.
The ability for a computer to replicate human-like behaviour is at the core of all AI functions. Machine learning software allows computers to “witness” human behaviour through the intake of data. These systems then undergo advanced processes to analyse that data and identify patterns within it, using those findings to apply the discovered knowledge and replicate the behaviour. AI ML is one of the key driving technologies for the coming Decades.
Keeping this in mind FAMT started the Bachelor of Engineering program in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) with AI ML from academic session 2020-2021. Emphasis of B.E. in CSE-AIML on Computer programming, Hardware, AI and ML and its applications etc.; it comprises a plethora of topics. The said topics are related to theory of computation, Analysis of Algorithms, programming languages, Program design, Computer software and hardware, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Systems, Artificial Neural networks, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Analytics etc. Currently the department’s infrastructure contains three classrooms, six laboratories, a staffroom, and a seminar hall. The computing facility in the department includes 155 computers with latest configuration, and other ICT equipments such as LCD projectors, printers and scanners.
The Department provides complete support to students for training and placement. IBM, Amazon Inc., Wipro, Persistence, Parametrix, Syntel, Tata, Computer Systems are some of the IT companies who are prospective recruiters of IT / CSE AIML students.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, including learning, reasoning, and self-correction. AI can be of two types: weak AI and strong AI. Weak Artificial Intelligence refers to an AI system developed for a specific task. Strong Artificial Intelligence is an AI system with generalized human cognitive skills.
Machine learning (ML) is an application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) generating systems that can learn and improve without being programmed. Contrary to AI, ML concentrates on developing computer programs that access data and use it to learn for themselves.
Keeping this in mind FAMT started the Bachelor of Engineering program in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) with AI ML from academic session 2020-2021.
AI is usually adopted to solve customer service issues, inform people about the latest news along with giving them live traffic updates and weather forecasts. Machine Learning is often used to power recommendation engines that provide suggestions based on past customers’ behaviours. AI ML is a ubiquitous technology to build applications and deployment for automation in near future. Another domain in which these technologies will make their impact is data analytics, which is driving the current business models.
The department has state of the art infrastructure with ICT classrooms and labs equipped with compute facility. The department is having teaching learning process and all other supporting activities for the holistic development of students. The department is supported by the vibrant Training and placement cell who has been providing excellent job opportunities for the students.

IT sector is the higher salary provider sector. A fresher can get the initial package of 2 lakh per annum to 3 lakh per annum in India. In abroad, he can get the salary in six figures.
After gaining a minimum of 2 years’ experience you can get the salary just double of it.
There is no criterion of salary for the brilliant or an experienced candidate.
