Mandvi Beach Cleaning Drive
A social activity focused on cleanliness and environmental awareness was successfully conducted at Mandvi Beach on the morning of 8th April 2026. The drive was organized by the students of the Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) department with the primary objective of promoting the importance of nature conservation and instilling a sense of responsibility towards maintaining cleanliness among students and society.
The drive commenced early in the morning with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. Equipped with gloves, garbage bags, and other necessary materials, the participants actively engaged in cleaning the beach area by collecting plastic waste, bottles, wrappers, and other non-biodegradable materials. The initiative not only helped in improving the cleanliness of the beach but also created awareness about the harmful effects of pollution on marine life and the ecosystem.
The main objective of this event was to create social awareness regarding environmental protection, cleanliness, and sustainable living practices. Through this hands-on activity, students gained practical exposure to community service and understood the importance of contributing towards a cleaner and greener environment.
