AI-Powered Solution Expo 2026: Demo Days for AI Prototypes

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML), in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC), successfully organized “AI-Powered Solution Expo 2026: Demo Days for AI Prototypes” on 6th and 7th April 2026 from 2:15 PM onwards in EN 1/15, CSE (AI & ML) Block, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri.

The primary objective of the event was to provide a platform for students to showcase innovative Artificial Intelligence-based prototypes and solutions developed to address real-world problems. The expo aimed to encourage students to apply their knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related technologies to design practical and impactful applications.

A total of 22 teams participated in the event, with each team consisting of 3 to 4 members from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML). The participating teams presented their AI-powered prototypes, explaining the problem statement, methodology, system design, implementation process, and expected impact of their solutions.

The projects were evaluated by the esteemed judges Prof. M. G. Gore and Dr. G. N. Sawant, who carefully assessed each team based on predefined evaluation criteria such as innovation, technical implementation, feasibility, testing, and presentation quality. The judges interacted with the students, asked insightful questions, and provided valuable suggestions to enhance the effectiveness of their solutions.

The event created an enthusiastic and competitive environment where students demonstrated their technical skills, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. It also helped students gain confidence in presenting their ideas and prototypes before experts.

To recognise and appreciate the participants’ innovative efforts, Certificates of Excellence were awarded to the Top 3 prototypes. Additionally, participation certificates were provided to all the participating teams in recognition of their active involvement in the event.

The event was successfully coordinated by Prof. S. R. Teli, Assistant Professor & IEDC Coordinator, from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML). The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the judges and participants for their valuable contribution in making the event successful.
