Teacher’s Day and Engineering Day Celebration

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML), through the Association of Computer Science and Engineering Students (ACSES), celebrated Teacher’s Day and Engineering Day on 8 September 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members.
The celebration commenced at 10:30 AM with an inauguration ceremony. As a special gesture of appreciation, the students of CSE (AI & ML) prepared a creative and wonderful display board featuring the favourite dialogues and distinctive characteristics of the faculty members. The innovative initiative was highly appreciated by all the teachers and added a personal and memorable touch to the celebration.
The inauguration began with lamp lighting and worship of Goddess Saraswati, seeking blessings for knowledge and learning. Dr. Yogesh M. Gajmal, Head of the Department, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of Teaching and Engineering, explaining how both are closely interconnected in shaping competent professionals and responsible citizens. Prof. Akshay N. Shetye, Faculty In-charge of the Association of Computer Science and Engineering Students (ACSES), appreciated the efforts of all the committee members for organizing such a creative and innovative event.
As a mark of gratitude and respect, all faculty members were felicitated with roses and greeting cards by the students. Ms. Anushka Shevde efficiently anchored the inauguration ceremony and proposed the vote of thanks, bringing the inaugural session to a graceful conclusion.
