Farewell Ceremony 2k26
The farewell function for the Final Year students of B.E. CSE (AI & ML) was organized by the Association of Computer Science and Engineering Students (ACSES) on 18th April 2026 at 3:15 p.m. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and served as a memorable occasion to bid farewell to the outgoing batch while celebrating their achievements and journey at Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT), Ratnagiri.
The program commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolising knowledge and auspicious beginnings, in the presence of dignitaries and faculty members. A warm welcome to all faculty and students followed this. The event was graced by inspiring speeches from Dr. Yogesh Gajmal, Head of Department, CSE (AI & ML), Prof. Vrishali Nimbalkar, Head of Department, CSE (Cyber Security), and Prof. Akshay Shetye, Faculty In-charge, ACSES. In their addresses, they conveyed their best wishes to the graduating students, shared valuable insights on future opportunities and challenges, and reflected on the students’ academic journey and memorable experiences at FAMT.
As part of the event, students who secured placements in ADisoft Company were felicitated for their accomplishment. The students honoured were Shubham Govekar, Aditya Mayekar, and Bhanuraj Khot. The function also recognized the outstanding academic achievements of students who excelled in the GATE Examination. Giriprasath K, Gaurang Gosavi, Raunak Wete, and Isha Katake were felicitated for their commendable performance and securing notable GATE ranks. A special moment of pride for the department was the announcement and felicitation of Mr Giriprasath K as the Best Outgoing Student for the Academic Year 2025–26, in recognition of his excellent academic performance and overall contribution to the department.
