CSE Department Held Har Ghar Tiranga Rally
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML), in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized a Har Ghar Tiranga Rally on 13th August 2026. The rally commenced at 12:30 pm from the campus of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT), Ratnagiri, and proceeded towards the University of Mumbai Sub-Centre. A total of 70 students actively participated in the rally.
The rally was flagged off by the respected Principal, Dr. Kaushal Prasad, and the respected Vice Principal, Dr. Milind Yadav, who initiated the rally and motivated the participating students. The activity was coordinated by Prof. U. K. Samant, NSS Coordinator, Prof. Akshay N. Shetye, Faculty Incharge of the Student Association of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML), and Prof. Siddhesh Khawale, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security).
The objective of organizing the rally was to promote the spirit of patriotism, national unity, and respect for the National Flag among students and the community. The activity was also aimed at creating awareness about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and encouraging people to participate in the campaign by displaying the National Flag with pride. The rally provided students with an opportunity to actively engage in a community-oriented activity and develop a sense of social and civic responsibility.
The rally started from the FAMT campus with students carrying the National Flag and participating enthusiastically in the procession. Students and faculty members proceeded along the designated route towards the University of Mumbai Sub-Centre. Throughout the rally, participants maintained discipline and displayed enthusiasm while spreading the message of patriotism, national unity, and respect for the Tricolour. The presence of the Principal and Vice Principal at the beginning of the rally added encouragement and significance to the event.
