Seminar on Supply Chain Management
On 23rd September 2024, the Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) organized a seminar on “Overview of Supply Chain Management” for the final-year and third-year students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the C 1/6 Seminar Hall and witnessed the participation of 165 students from both the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering departments.
The seminar featured Mr. Manoj Patil, a distinguished alumnus of FAMT and an industry expert currently working with Worley Industries. He delivered an insightful presentation that covered the fundamental concepts of supply chain management, its importance in the modern industrial landscape, and the various challenges and opportunities associated with it. The seminar aimed to equip students with a foundational understanding of supply chain management, a crucial aspect of engineering and industrial processes.
The students engaged actively, asking questions and participating in discussions, which enriched their learning experience.
The entire event was successfully coordinated by MESA students’ team under the guidance of Prof. Gayatri M Kirkire, Prof. Hemant V Chavan and Dr. Milind S Kirkire, HoD Mechanical.
