Seminar on Overview of Project Management
On Monday, 24th September 2024, the Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) of the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a seminar on “Project Management.” The seminar was held in the C 1/6 Seminar Hall and was attended by final-year and third-year students. A total of 126 students from the Mechanical, Electrical, and EXTC Engineering departments participated in the seminar.
Ms. Kirti Raorane, a professional from Worley Industries, Mumbai, was the guest speaker for the event. She provided valuable insights into the fundamentals of project management, covering topics such as project planning, execution, risk management, and the importance of effective communication in successfully managing projects.
The seminar concluded with a Q&A session, where Ms. Raorane addressed the queries raised by the students, further enhancing their understanding of project management concepts.
The entire event was successfully coordinated by MESA students’ team under the guidance of Prof. Gayatri M Kirkire, Prof. Hemant V Chavan and Dr. Milind S Kirkire, HoD Mechanical.
