Electrical Engineering Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) Meeting
Departmental Advisory Board meeting was held on 23 February 2026 in hybrid (online and offline) mode. The members of the Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) were from different domains such as industry, academia, alumni, students and parents.
DAB started with a welcome address by Prof Mangesh Modak. Dr J. J. Mane HoD, Electrical Engineering, presented the department report on various routine activities. He then briefed the gathering on the NBA preparations of the department.
In an open discussion, Alumni Shri Advait Halbe insisted that since the industry is result oriented hence, students must become deliverable. Dr Bhooshan Rajpathak advised faculty members to inculcate the usage of AI tools in teaching. He further suggested conducting some of the workshops related to this subject. Shri Ninad Behere suggested taking help from Alumni for providing career option information. Shri Advait further suggested tying up with some start-ups to make student industry ready. Shri Mangesh Shetye expressed his satisfaction over the functioning of the department. Finally, Prof. M. N Tagare expressed a vote of thanks.
