FE Department Held IKS Exhibition–cum–Competition

The First Year (FE) Department held an IKS Exhibition–cum–Competition under the course Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) on 22nd and 23rd February 2026. The event aimed to promote awareness and appreciation of India’s rich historical and cultural heritage among students through creative presentations and exhibits.

The theme of the exhibition was “Indian Dynasties”, where students showcased their understanding of ancient Indian history through models, charts, artefacts, and informative displays. Seven FE divisions represented a prominent Indian dynasty:

A Division – Chalukya Dynasty
B Division – Pallava Dynasty
C Division – Satavahana Dynasty
D Division – Vakataka Dynasty
E Division – Chola Dynasty
F Division – Maurya Dynasty
G Division – Gupta Dynasty

Students enthusiastically participated and presented well-researched exhibits highlighting the history, administration, architecture, culture, defence and development of science, art, literature and sustainable practices during the rule of these dynasties.

The competition was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges: Dr. Pankaj Ghate (Gogate College), Mr. Prakash Deorukhkar (Phatak High School) and Mr. Radhey Pandit (YouTuber, Itihas Matters Channel). The judges shared valuable feedback and encouraged students to further explore India’s rich knowledge traditions and historical legacy.

The IKS Exhibition–cum–Competition turned out to be an engaging and educational experience, providing students with a platform to connect with India’s glorious past while developing teamwork, creativity, and research skills.

The FE Department congratulates all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and extends sincere thanks to the respected judges for their valuable time, guidance, and encouragement in making the event a grand success.

The exhibition was coordinated by Prof. V. M. Kulkarni along with IKS faculty with the guidance and support extended by Dr D. S. Nangre, Head – FE Department; Dr M. S. Yadav, Vice- Principal; and Dr Kaushal Prasad, Principal FAMT.
