A Guest Lecture on “Open Source Software Technology RED HAT – RH124” was conducted in Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri by the department of Electronics on 24th Jan, 2018. Prof G. S. Kulkarni from Electronics and Telecom Department invited Mr. Sumanyu Rao (Telenetworks Technologies, Mumbai) to conduct the lecture. The two separate sessions were held for EXTC and Electronics Engineering students.
Dr. S. V. Chougule (HOD, EXTC) welcomed and introduced resource person to all participants. Prof A. R. Sutar coordinated this event under the guidance of Prof. G. G. Bhide. Prof. V. V. Nimbalkar, Prof. M. A. Jadhav and Prof. A. B. Vartak also cooperated for successful conduction of this event. The workshop covered various important topics and demonstrated advantages of Red Hat Linux in networking field and the career guidance for associated certifications in Telecom-Networking domain.
It helped students to get insights of telecom networking –current and future trends and career opportunities.
