UNDER SEVA SANKALP ABHIYAN 2026

The BrainWaves Committee of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri successfully organized the College-Level Rangoli Competition 2026 under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 on 30th September 2026 at C 1/6 Mechanical Block, FAMT.

The competition was conducted with the objective of encouraging students to showcase their creativity, artistic talent, and social awareness through the traditional art of Rangoli. The event was based on the theme “Viksit Bharat 2047 – Service, Innovation, Sustainability and Nation Building”, inspiring participants to creatively express their vision of a developed India through vibrant colours and innovative designs.

The competition received an enthusiastic response from students across various departments. A total of 10 teams registered for the event, of which 7 were present and actively participated. Participants created impressive Rangoli designs reflecting themes such as nation-building, environmental sustainability, innovation, women’s empowerment, social responsibility, and cultural heritage. The event gave students a platform to showcase their artistic skills, creativity, teamwork, and ability to communicate meaningful social messages through visual art.

The competition was evaluated by Prof. Sprooha Athalye and Prof. Shraddha Chavan, who assessed the entries based on relevance to the theme, creativity, innovation, artistic presentation, and social impact. After careful evaluation, the winners were declared as follows:

The First Prize was awarded to Ms. Purva Sandip Malap and Ms. Pranjali Mahesh Dalvi for their outstanding Rangoli design that effectively reflected the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The competition witnessed a tie for the Second Prize, which was awarded to Ms. Mukta Manoj Kamat and Ms. Richya Dinesh, as well as Ms. Sanyogita Jadhav and Ms. Shruti Mandavkar, for their creative and impactful presentations. The Third Prize was secured by Ms. Shreya Vinod Gamare and Ms. Divyalakshmi Mahendra Lad for their impressive artistic expression and theme-based design. The judges appreciated the efforts of all participants for their creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm in presenting meaningful ideas through the traditional art of Rangoli, making the competition highly engaging and successful.

The event was successfully coordinated by the Brain Waves Student Coordinators, Mr. Sahil Parab and Ms. Soha Ansari, along with their dedicated team members, who actively managed registration, participant coordination, venue arrangements, competition execution, and result compilation. The programme was organized under the esteemed guidance of Respected Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad Sir, whose encouragement and support contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the event. The overall event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Swapnali Teli, Brain Waves Faculty Coordinator, who supervised the planning and smooth execution of the competition.

The College-Level Rangoli Competition successfully achieved its objectives by promoting creativity, teamwork, cultural appreciation, and awareness about the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
