IT Department Held Parent-Teacher Meeting
The Department of Information Technology, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri organised an online Parent–Teacher Meeting on 3rd October 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM for the parents of Second Year (SE), Third Year (TE), and Final Year (BE) Information Technology students through Google Meet.
The main objectives of the Parent–Teacher Meeting:
- To discuss department information and methodologies of teaching learning.
- To inform parents about the academic progress and overall performance of students.
- To update parents regarding curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities conducted by the department.
- To discuss placement preparation activities, internships, and training programs organized for students.
- To address parents’ suggestions and concerns regarding students’ educational experience.
The meeting started with a welcome address by Prof. Madhura K. Zagade, Parent Meet Coordinator, who welcomed all the parents, faculty, and staff and explained the purpose of organizing the meeting. Dr. Vinayak A. Bharadi, Head of the Department of Information Technology, addressed the parents and provided a detailed overview of the department, academic curriculum, teaching–learning practices, and the continuous efforts taken by the department to improve students’ academic performance. He also highlighted various academic activities such as workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and technical events organized for students. He emphasized the role of parents in supporting students’ academic performance, attendance, discipline, and overall development.
Faculty members interacted with parents to discuss the importance of regular attendance, academic discipline, continuous learning, and active participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Parents actively participated in the discussion and appreciated the efforts taken by the department for the academic and professional development of students. Many valuable suggestions from the parents were noted down. Feedback forms were also circulated among parents. The meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Madhura K. Zagade.
