Celebration of Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din
First Year Engineering Students’ Association celebrated Marathi Bhasha Gauarav Din by organizing Marathi Poetry Recitation Competition on 27 February 2017, in C 1/6 from 4.15pm to 6.15pm. Dr. Kaushal Prasad, honorable Principal guided and motivated students for sustenance of Marathi language as our cultural identity. Prof D. S. Nangare, Teacher in charge of FESA delivered short speech explaining the importance of Marathi Bhasha Din, Marathi language and need of Marathi as the mother tongue. Prof D. D. Joshi, Prof L. D. Naiknaware and Prof Priya Potdar were judges for the evaluation of the of the poetry reading of students. Prof S.B. Kulkarni, Dean of Academics HOD of first year department was present for the program. More than 42 students participated in the competition. Ashwini Vaidya student of First Year Engineering secured the first rank, Prathamesh Shitut of third year Electrical secured second rank, and Manjiri Kane of S.E. EXTC and Siddhi Desai of First Year engineering secured third rank with equal marks.
