ELEKTRA 2026 – EESA’s Tech Fest
The Electrical Engineering Students Association (EESA), Department of Electrical Engineering, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology (FAMT), successfully organized Elektra 2026 on the 20th and 21st of February 2026.
The technical festival witnessed enthusiastic participation from 300 students, including participants from both colleges and schools such as Shirke High School. The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad, including Saraswati Poojan and an inspiring address. Dr. Jayant Mane, Head of the Department, shared valuable insights into the significance of technical festivals in fostering innovation and skill development.
EESA Head and Technical Head, Parth Salvi and Malhar Mayekar introduced the event, followed by a vote of thanks from EESA Faculty In-Charge, Prof. Priya A. Potdar. The ceremony was attended by all faculty members, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
Elektra 2026 featured an exciting lineup of competitions, categorized into technical and non-technical events. The technical events included Calci War, Make Circuit Using Tinkercad, Vision Mission Quiz, King of Multimeter, Library Treasure Hunt, and Guess the Component by Description, testing students’ analytical, problem-solving, and technical expertise.
On the non-technical side, engaging activities such as Glow Cricket, Poster Making Using AI, and Break the Limit added a refreshing and competitive spirit among participants. The fest provided students with a platform to showcase their skills, collaborate, and gain practical exposure beyond classroom learning. Each event was meticulously planned and executed, ensuring an engaging and challenging experience for all attendees.
To recognize the efforts and achievements of participants, winners from each event were honored with cash prizes and certificates, adding to the excitement of the competition. The festival not only promoted technical excellence but also encouraged teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm among students.
With the collective efforts of the EESA committee, faculty members, and student volunteers, Elektra 2026 concluded on a high note, leaving behind an inspiring legacy of innovation. The success of the event reaffirmed FAMT’s commitment to nurturing future engineers by providing a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
