Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) Meeting
Departmental Advisory Board meeting was held on 10 November 2023 in online mode through Google Meet. The members of the Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) were from different domains such as industry, academia, alumni, students and parents.
Prof. M. S. Modak briefly introduced all Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) members. Dr J. J. Mane, HoD, Electrical, presented information about the department, such as facilities available, rank holders, result analysis and placement details of the department. He also explained about outcome-based education and the steps taken by the department to achieve the same. He also explained the implementation of activity-based learning in the department.
It was followed by an open discussion among members of DAB. Prof. Bhooshan Rajpathak suggested that students should undergo an internship at IITs or at different centres of excellence at different NITs. Mr Rajesh Shirsat appreciated the efforts taken by the department towards the implementation of activity-based learning and asked to continue the same. He also suggested forming a group of students (1 student from SE, 1 student from TE, and 1 student from BE) and assigning them a project.
Mr. Advait Halbe (alumni representative) emphasised improving the communication skills of students. Mr Ninad Behere asked to make students aware of resources and logistics management. Prof. M. S. Modak expressed vote of thanks.
