Cleanliness Drive at Mirjole
A Cleanliness Drive was conducted by the NSS Unit of Finolex Academy of Management and Technology on 17 January 2026 at Karandikarwadi, Mirjole, Ratnagiri, to promote hygiene and environmental awareness among the public. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 17 volunteers.
During the drive, various activities such as sweeping of roads, cleaning of public spaces, and collection of waste were carried out. The waste collected was properly segregated and disposed of. The drive led to a noticeable improvement in the cleanliness of the area and helped instil a sense of responsibility among participants.
In conclusion, the cleanliness drive proved to be an effective initiative in encouraging community participation and promoting a cleaner and healthier environment. Prof. Umesh K Samant (Program Officer), Prof. Sachin S Gurav (Member, NSS Unit) coordinated the event under the guidance of Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad.
