FAMT Drama Team Triumphs at Purushottam Karandak 2025 Zonal Round

At the Purushottam Karandak 2025 Zonal Round, Natyarang, FAMT Drama team, delivered remarkable performances with the one-act plays “Thongya” and “Tukaramachi Topi”, securing the Second and Third Prizes. The event was held at Sawarkar Natyagruh Ratnagiri on 8th October 2025. With this, both one-act plays were qualified for the mega final round which is to be held in Pune.

Adding to this proud achievement, the team also earned prestigious individual honours:

  • Best Writer – Prasad Narayan Phadke (one-act play Thongya)
  • Best Director – Amartya Amit Desai (one-act play Thongya)
  • Best Female Actress – Gayatri Vishnu Shinde (one-act play Tukaramachi Topi)
