Ekta Padayatra 2025 in Association with District Sports Office
NSS Unit, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, participated in the ‘Ekta Padayatra’ organised on 20 November 2025 by Ratnagiri Sports Office and Education Department (Ratnagiri District).
This event was organized to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of ‘Iron Man: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’. It aimed to promote unity and harmony among students and faculty. All participants assembled at the Shivaji Stadium, Maruti Mandir, Ratnagiri in the morning, where the event began with the inaugural speeches by District Sports Officer Mr. Vijay Shinde and Mr. Rajendra Patil, Sr. Civil Judge and Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Ratnagiri, inspiring everyone’s commitment to peace and togetherness.
Students and teachers from various schools and colleges in Ratnagiri participated in the event, celebrating the spirit of Unity. The march began at Shivaji Stadium, Maruti Mandir and ended at the District Collector’s Office, Jaystambh, Ratnagiri, with banners and slogans highlighting national integration. Students actively participated in the event. The padayatra proceeded in a disciplined and enthusiastic manner under the supervision of government officials and teachers.
17 students from Finolex Academy participated in the event. Overall, the Ekta Padayatra was a meaningful and successful initiative that reinforced the spirit of unity among the attendees.
