CSE CS Department Advisory Board Meeting
The Department Advisory Board Meeting is held annually, and it gives guidelines to the department to progress academically and remain up to date with the current requirements of the industry. The meeting was conducted on 7th May 2026 by the Computer Science and Engineering (CS) Department at 03.00m pm through Online mode. The following members listed on the table are the committee members and were present for the meeting.

The Departmental Advisory Board (DAB) meeting began by welcoming all the DAB committee members, followed by an introduction of them all, which was done by Prof. M. A. Jadhav. It was followed by a departmental presentation given by HOD, Prof. V. V. Nimbalkar.
The presentation shared information about the department, various activities such as expert lectures, workshops, seminars, etc., carried out by the department for the students, activities undertaken by the students’ association (CYSEA), students’ achievements, results, industrial training, various courses undertaken by the students, etc. An overview of various Coursera courses, NPTEL courses, ATAL FDP, STTP, workshops, Industrial Training and webinars undertaken by the faculty was also given. The meeting was then open for discussion and suggestions for the improvement and betterment of the Department.
Dr. Bhushan Jadhav provided valuable suggestions regarding the modification and enhancement of the Department Vision, Mission, and PEOs to align them with current industry and academic requirements. He also recommended organizing hackathons, technical workshops, and skill development activities to strengthen students’ practical knowledge, innovation capabilities, and industry readiness.
Mr. Dattatray Karambelkar suggested that students should strengthen their fundamentals in core subjects such as Operating Systems and Computer Networks. He also emphasized that students should develop self-confidence, improve their communication skills, and focus on building a strong technical foundation to meet industry expectations effectively.
The suggestions given by Dr. Bhushan Jadhav, Mr. Dattatray Karambelkar, parents, students and faculty were noted. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks. The program was coordinated by Prof. Mahesh A. Jadhav.
