Activity-Based Workshop on Climate Skill Programme
NSS Unit of FAMT organized an activity-based workshop on Climate Skill Programme and Environmental Awareness in association with Ratnagiri Sub-Campus of The University of Mumbai for the Academic Year 2025-26 on 09 February 2026 at Finolex Academy of Management and Technology.
The conducting team included Dr. P. Y. Patil (Associate Professor Dept of Env. Sci Ratnagiri Sub-Campus of The University of Mumbai) and Master Trainer (British Council), Prof Rujuta Jadhav (Facilitator), and Mr. Ashutosh B. Parker (Field Assistant). The workshop aimed to create awareness about climate change and promote sustainable environmental practices among participants. It included interactive sessions such as presentations on climate change, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Participants also engaged in team-based tasks to enhance their understanding of environmental issues. 41 students enthusiastically participated in the workshop.
The workshop successfully increased awareness and encouraged participants to adopt environmentally responsible behavior. The interactive approach made the session informative and engaging.
The workshop was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad. Prof. U.K. Samant and Prof. Sachin Gurav worked for the successful organization of the workshop.
