Introduction to ISTE Chapter and Membership Awareness Program
- Introduction
A program on ISTE Student Chapter Formation Guidelines and Membership Awareness was organized on 9th September 2026 with the permission of the Head of the Department. The program was conducted by Dr. Aswant Kumar Sharma to inform students about the guidelines, membership procedures, and formation of an ISTE Student Chapter.
- Participation
The event was attended by 8 faculty members and 76 students. The participation of students and teachers contributed to the successful organization of the program.
- Objectives of the Program
The primary objectives of the program were:
- To create awareness among the Electrical Engineering students about ISTE membership and its benefits.
- To explain the guidelines and procedures for the formation of an ISTE Student Chapter.
- To provide information about student membership registration and the required documentation.
- To encourage students to actively participate in professional and technical activities.
- Proceedings of the Program
The knowledge and guidelines related to ISTE Membership and Student Chapter Formation were delivered by Prof. A. K. Bandsode. The session provided students with important information regarding the requirements and procedures associated with ISTE membership and the establishment of a Student Chapter.

- ISTE Student Chapter Formation Guidelines: Eligibility requirements for the institute, minimum student strength, and the process of establishing an ISTE Student Chapter.
- Student Membership: Details of student membership, including the membership fee and relevant information.
- Membership Registration Process: Submission of student lists, forwarding letters, and membership fees to ISTE as specified in the guidelines.
- Student Chapter Office Bearers: Information regarding the election of the Student Chairperson, Student Secretary-cum-Treasurer, committee members, and Faculty Advisor.
- Chapter Activities: Awareness about technical quizzes, expert lectures, industrial visits, entrepreneurship development, leadership training, and other activities recommended by ISTE.
