Two-Day Faculty Workshop On GAPC 4.0 & OBE
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (FAMT), Ratnagiri, organized a two-day faculty workshop on “GAPC 4.0 and OBE” on 29th and 31st August 2026 in online and offline modes. The workshop was organized to familiarize faculty members with the revised Graduate Attributes and Professional Competencies (GAPC) 4.0, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), and accreditation requirements.
The workshop featured distinguished resource persons who provided valuable insights into the implementation of GAPC 4.0 and OBE practices. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Mahesh Jadhav followed by the introduction of the resource person by Dr. Sharada Chougule, HOD, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. The respected Principal, Dr. Kaushal K. Prasad, addressed the participants and highlighted the importance of OBE, continuous improvement, and effective implementation of accreditation frameworks.
Dr. Ritesh Bhat, Deputy Dean – School of Advanced Manufacturing, Sricity International University, Andhra Pradesh, conducted sessions on GAPC 4.0, the OBE framework, Knowledge Profiles (WK), PO mapping, NEP, assessment, and continuous improvement. His sessions focused on the practical implementation of OBE principles and effective approaches for accreditation documentation.
Dr. Ajit Patil conducted an insightful session focusing on the practical implementation of OBE and effective assessment and attainment of Programme Outcomes (POs). He highlighted the importance of systematic curriculum planning, appropriate assessment methodologies, and continuous improvement for achieving desired learning outcomes. The session provided faculty members with practical guidance on strengthening OBE practices and improving preparedness for NBA accreditation and documentation.
The sessions included interactive discussions, practical examples, and expert guidance on Knowledge Profiles, Programme Outcomes (POs), assessment, attainment, and continuous improvement. The workshop provided faculty members with an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of GAPC 4.0 and its application in curriculum planning, teaching-learning processes, assessment, and accreditation documentation.
The workshop concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Prof. Giri Kulkarni, who expressed gratitude to the resource persons, Principal, HOD, organizing committee, and all participating faculty members for their valuable contribution and support.
