EXTC Department Organizes Ideathon Competition to Foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department organised an Ideathon Competition as a part of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) activity for all the EXTC students on 3rd August 2026.
The students actively participated in the competition. They demonstrated their project ideas and explained working principles with the help of PowerPoint presentations. Prof. G. S. Kulkarni, Dr. A. R. Sutar judged their project ideas and guided them for further improvement in the projects. The objectives of this Poster Presentation Competition were:
- Equip students with poster writing skills for highlighting innovation.
- Enable students to improve presentation skills.
- Encourage students to educate others.
A total of 64 BE students (17 groups) successfully presented their project ideas. The competition was organized by the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department (EXTC) as a part of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) activity and coordinated by Dr Vijay M. Galshetwar, Assistant Professor of the EXTC Department, under the guidance of the Head of the EXTC Department, Dr Sharada V. Chougule.
